ZenBusiness vs. Bizee

Both services will form your LLC for $0. Almost everything after that differs: one includes the agent year and charges once, the other never includes the agent and rents you the compliance layer by the year. Prices checked November 8, 2026.

How This Page Makes Money, Honestly

LLCForming is funded by affiliate commissions. Right now the provider links on this page are plain links and we earn nothing when you click them. The short answer

On the path most founders take, Bizee is cheaper by a wide margin: $596 over five years with agent service, against $995 for ZenBusiness, whose agent is a $199 a year add-on from day one and is never included in any package. ZenBusiness earns its premium only if you want its compliance subscription: its Pro tier files your annual reports and amendments as part of a renewing $199 a year product. If you will track your own deadlines, Bizee's one-time pricing and free agent year win easily.

Where ZenBusiness genuinely wins

Compliance depth. ZenBusiness built its product around the fact that owners forget annual reports, and Pro's ongoing filing compliance, which covers state-required annual report filings and up to two amendments a year, is a real service Bizee does not sell at any tier. Its paid tiers also prepare and submit in one business day, and its checkout is the more guided of the two. If missed deadlines are your known weakness, ZenBusiness is selling the cure, and our compliance guide shows what a miss can cost in states like Florida.

Where Bizee wins

Price structure, decisively. A free agent year, one-time package prices, and a $149 renewal against a $199 add-on charged from day one: the five-year gap on the entry path is $399, and it comes entirely from how agent service is billed. Bizee also puts the EIN and operating agreement in a one-time $199 tier, where ZenBusiness puts them in a tier that renews at $199 a year. Nothing about the LLC you receive differs; the state issues the same entity either way.

Who should pick which

Common questions

Both are $0. Why is the five-year gap $399?

The agent. Bizee includes the first agent year free and renews at $149, so five years of agent service cost $596. ZenBusiness never includes the agent and charges $199 a year from day one, so five years cost $995. The formation price was never the difference.

Does ZenBusiness Pro's compliance filing replace my annual report duty?

It files the reports for you while the subscription is active, which is a genuine service. The duty itself stays yours: if the subscription lapses, the deadlines keep coming, and the penalties land on the LLC, not on ZenBusiness.

Are Bizee's paid packages subscriptions?

No. Bizee's own FAQ states its packages are flat one-time payments with no monthly fee. ZenBusiness's Pro and Premium, by contrast, renew every year. That single difference explains most of the long-run price gap between the two brands.

Which one is faster?

ZenBusiness publishes preparation times: 7 to 10 business days on Starter, 1 business day on Pro and Premium, before the state's own review. Bizee publishes no standard preparation time and bundles expedited filing into Premium. Your state's review time, on our processing times page, usually matters more than either.
